Nellie is the sister of Elizabeth Marks Nakamarra. Nellie's paintings depict designs associated with women's ceremonies at the rock hole and water soakage sites of Ngaminya, south of Kiwirrkurra.
Nellie's paintings show the ground where floodwaters have been and now receding, with the earth beginning to crack as it dries out from the heat of the sun.
